Unique Woodland Wedding Venue in the Heart of Lincolnshire

We love hearing about unique venues and one of our brides mentioned her reception was being held at Stourton Estates, so we hopped onto Google to find out more about this amazing venue.

Situated near Horncastle in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, it's perfect for couples looking for a rustic woodland setting. Over the many acres of their site they have a safari tent with the most idyllic wooden chairs and tables, vintage lighting and surrounded by beautiful woodland it is like something you would find on pinterest!

There is a hand-crafted rustic bar which is fully staffed to keep the drinks flowing throughout the evening. With a very outdoor feel there are also picnic tables which are great for your guest to socialise. If the weather does turn colder the safari tent is fully heated with a log burner which creates a cosy atmosphere.

There is plenty of parking for your guests no matter what size your wedding is and there is even the option for overnight camping if you were having a festival style wedding. They have thought about everything with a dedicated area for the catering, you can choose your own caterers or one of their recommended suppliers. They even have luxury toilets onsite - no portaloos in sight!

The safari tent has views across the lake for some picturesque photos and you might spot some deer in the parkland as well! You can choose to have a woodland blessing for your ceremony and do the official paperwork at a registry office or there is St Swithin’s Church just a few hundred metres from the venue.

You can personalise the decor to your tastes and styles and they offer a number of extras that you might wish to have to make your day extra special. They also offer a horsebox trailer bar which serves prosecco or hire their Events Manager that will be there all day making sure your wedding day runs smoothly and there is a beautiful honey bell tent for the bride and groom.
